NCMS and NAM Fall Membership Meeting at the Cradle of Aviation: Uniting the Medical Community

This week, I attended the Nassau County Medical Society (NCMS) and Nassau Academy of Medicine (NAM) fall membership meeting, which epitomized the very best of organized medicine. When we gather to share ideas and professional camaraderie, great things can be accomplished. As physicians, we share a unique bond and it’s important that we participate in organized medicine to strengthen those bonds.

On Tuesday evening, we came together at the prestigious Cradle of Aviation in Garden City. The extraordinary event provided an opportunity for members to network, collaborate, and celebrate the remarkable achievements within the medical community. With a focus on fostering unity and promoting the invaluable work of the society and academy, the meeting proved to be an exceptional platform for growth and advancement.

We witnessed the participation of distinguished healthcare professionals, industry leaders, and esteemed members of the medical community. The event served as a testament to the dedication and passion shared by all attendees towards enhancing patient care and advancing medical knowledge.

In addition, we recognized and celebrated exceptional individuals who have made significant contributions to the medical community, including Dr. Robert D’Esposito, who received the prestigious Past President Award for his exemplary leadership during his tenure as president of NCMS and NAM. Keynote Speaker Nassau Commissioner of Health Dr. Irina Gelman’s insightful address emphasized the importance of collaboration, innovation, and patient-centered care.

The meeting symbolized the commitment to supporting physicians, medical students, and the wider Nassau County community. The event’s success will undoubtedly inspire future collaborations, advancements, and improved patient care.
