Spotlight on Scope of Practice Concerns
This week’s MSSNY in the News spotlights our concern with protecting physician-led team-based care for patients. MSSNY President Dr. Parag Mehta spoke with Spectrum News about Gov. Hochul’s proposed scope of practice expansion commenting, “If we can continue to understand the optimal team and everyone has their own role, that will be the perfect way of moving forward rather than just giving somebody increased scope of practice and hurting your patient.”
