With New York’s Medical Aid in Dying law set to take effect next Wednesday, August 5, the New York State Department of Health has published a FAQ document, Medical Aid in Dying Law Frequently Asked Questions, with more information regarding what physicians need to know about this law.
The DOH has also developed a short physician guidance document, physician_guidance.pdf, that provides a concise summary.
