New York Physicians Needed for Important Federal Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Program

The Island Peer Review Organization (IPRO) has launched an aggressive recruitment campaign, targeting New York healthcare providers, to enroll in the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services’ (CMS) Quality Innovation Network – Quality Improvement Organization (QIN-QIO) program.
The QIN-QIO program is the nation’s largest federal healthcare quality improvement initiative working with physician practices, hospitals, and others, to improve the quality of care, patient safety, and health outcomes, is free of charge and offers several benefits for participation. New York State is part of the program’s Northeast Region 1.
