Recent changes to New York’s Essential Plan could result in some residents losing health insurance coverage or experiencing gaps in their benefits. As these transitions take place, it is important that affected individuals continue to have access to the healthcare services, medications, and support they need.

To help New Yorkers navigate this period, MSSNY House of Delegates sponsor Excellus has a new resource flyer highlighting programs and services available to those who may be losing coverage. Resources include low- or no-cost medical, dental, and behavioral health services, prescription drug savings programs, and community supports such as 211, 988, and local health departments.

Anyone concerned about changes to their health insurance coverage or their patients’ coverage is encouraged to review and share the available resources.
