On October 15th, Dr. Thomas Lee, MSSNY EVP, and Dr. Charles Lopresto, Vice-Chair of MSSNY’s Legislative Committee, co-hosted a MSSNYPAC reception for Senator Toby Ann Stavisky (NY Senate District 11, Queens) in Dr. Lopresto’s apartment lounge in Long Island City, Queens. As the Senior Ranking Senator in New York and Chair of the Senate Higher Education Committee, Senator Stavisky has been a long-time essential partner on MSSNY’s legislative priorities, including protecting the standards of the practice of medicine and preventing multiple scope-of-practice expansions.
