The New York State Society of Anesthesiologists (NYSSA) is hosting a Financial Literacy Series in collaboration with MLMIC Insurance Company and Global Physicians Network Foundation (GPNF). The next session, titled “Physician Payment & Practice”, will take place virtually on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM (Eastern Time). This complimentary webinar will focus on key topics such as insurance barriers to reimbursement, identifying coding issues, and understanding relevant laws like prompt payment and take back regulations.
The event’s featured speaker is Heather K. Lopez, MSSNY Vice President of Physician Payment and Practice. Dr. Sandhya Malhotra will moderate the session. Physicians are encouraged to register and attend this interactive session to enhance their financial understanding of practice management.
