- What is IMG Week? An annual initiative to recognize and showcase IMG contributions through brief profiles and photographs on LinkedIn, Facebook, X, and other social media platforms, increasing IMG visibility and representation.
- What does it celebrate? IMGs who have made significant contributions to advancing IMG opportunities and improving their professional circumstances in the United States.
- Why do we celebrate? To recognize IMG advocates and leaders, highlight their impact, strengthen the IMG community’s voice, and inspire continued advocacy.
- What is the goal? To demonstrate how persistent advocacy can overcome barriers and drive meaningful change, motivating IMGs who may feel discouraged by slow progress.
- Call to action—Nominate and amplify: IMG Section members are encouraged to nominate deserving IMGs. Submit each nominee’s name, photograph, and a brief summary of their contributions for consideration.
