OPRA Provider and Denied United Claims?

Are you a NYS Medicaid OPRA provider and receiving denied claims from United Healthcare’s Community Plan? Beginning last September, all providers needed to be enrolled as a Medicaid provider per The 21st Century Cures Act. It has come to MSSNY’s attention that there are physicians who are enrolled as an OPRA (rdering, prescribing, referring and attending) Medicaid provider who are receiving denials for claims from the community plan. If you are experiencing this, please reach out to Heather Lopez for further discussion and assistance.  For more information on the 21st Century Cures Act, please click here.

If you have questions about this or any other insurance concern, contact MSSNY’s Director of Physician Payment and Practice, Heather Lopez, at 518.328.3532
