Security Incident at MSSNY
MSSNY recently discovered a security incident that impacted our internal IT systems. Upon learning of the issue, we took immediate steps to protect our environment.
We immediately commenced a thorough investigation in consultation with cybersecurity experts and data privacy professionals. That investigation is ongoing.
Since the incident was initially detected, we have restored our functionality back to normal. Our systems and data are clean and operating as usual.
We are working as quickly as we can to determine the scope and impact of the incident. The investigation remains ongoing. In the event that it is determined that personal information was impacted as a result of the incident, we will provide notice to impacted individuals in compliance with the applicable reporting requirements.
We appreciate your understanding and partnership as we work through this issue. We will keep you apprised of relevant developments as the investigation continues. We have no further updates at this time.
While cybersecurity threats continue to impact all of us, we are taking ever-increasing measures to protect the information entrusted to us.
