As physicians, we all know how insurance company prior authorization requirements can impose overwhelming burdens that often result in delays in care for our patients. These requirements often postpone necessary prescriptions, tests, and/or procedures. Our patients deserve better!
MSSNY is advocating for legislation and regulation to reduce unnecessary delays in care to our patients that are caused by prior authorization.
