
MSSNY Exec Underscores Importance of Childhood Vaccinations
Children attending day care centers in New York, as well as schools, are required to receive vaccinations as outlined by the state Health Department. MSSNY Executive Vice President Dr. Thomas Lee notes that “childhood vaccines are extremely important for the prevention of communicable and serious illnesses” and adds that they also can help protect people with compromised immune systems, other family members and older people.
