Progress in State Budget This Week; Ongoing Physician Advocacy Essential

The legislative leaders’ announcement this week of a resolution to one of the thorny policy issues holding up the State Budget advances the possibility that a final Budget could be adopted by the end of next week or early the week after.  However, as long as negotiations remain “open”, physicians must continue to advocate to their legislators in opposition to the following problematic healthcare proposals from the Executive Budget.
