Physician Advocates: Working Together for the Good of Our Patients and Profession

Physicians, residents, medical students, and allies are encouraged to join MSSNYPAC on Friday, April 12th from 3:15– 5:15PM as we hear from NY State Legislators from Nassau County and experienced physician advocates. This event will take place at MSSNY’s annual House of Delegates, located at the Long Island Marriott (101 James Doolittle Blvd Uniondale, NY 11553).

Attendees will be able to submit questions to the speakers and network with New York physicians involved in advocacy on the state and federal levels.  Come explore the opportunities available to advocate individually and collectively on issues that impact our patients’ ability to access needed medical care.

Physician leadership in policy formation, sustained grassroots advocacy efforts, and an active role in collective political action are critical to preservation of the profession and, most importantly, the health of New Yorkers.  Information on the benefits of membership from Nassau County Medical Society, Medical Society of the State of New York, and MSSNYPAC will be available. Refreshments will be served, including kosher options. This in-person event is open to non-members and there is no cost to participate. To RSVP, please send your name, email and code: HOD24 to (text) 914-933-7722 or (email) [email protected].  View flyer
