Resident Physicians in Buffalo Work Tirelessly and Selflessly During Historic Blizzard
On the morning of Friday, December 23rd, 2022, the city of Buffalo experienced a record-breaking blizzard that lasted four days and buried the city in snow. Across three hospitals in Buffalo, University of Buffalo internal medicine residents were the front-line doctors who took care of patients during this external disaster. There was no way for oncoming doctors to get to the hospital. To acknowledge the hard work and selfless sacrifice of these residents, MSSNY sent a letter to each of the resident physicians thanking them for their commitment to their patients and their profession and expressing our pride in each of them.
