Reminder: Authorization Renewal with WC board is Required Periodically
The Workers’ Compensation Board (Board) now requires authorized Acupuncturists, Chiropractors, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Nurse Practitioners, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Physician Assistants, Physicians, Podiatrists, and Psychologists to renew their authorization every two or three years. The renewal of a provider’s authorization will coincide with their New York State Education Department license registration renewal. The Board has transitioned to a fully electronic online renewal process through the Board’s Medical Portal to streamline the process. Additional information
