Support End-of-Life Choice, Advocate Says

In this opinion piece, Corinne Carey, Compassion & Choices’ senior campaign director for New York and New Jersey, urges voters to support New York legislators who favor the state’s Medical Aid in Dying Act, which again failed to pass this legislative session despite growing support including that of the Medical Society of the State of New York. “Everyone who is terminally ill and approaching death should have the ability to choose the death they want based on their own faith and values,” Carey writes.
