Medical Society of the State of New York Board of Trustees Chair Dr. Nameer Haider recently traveled to Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, to perform surgery on a member of the UAE royal family, receiving emergency surgical privileges via royal decree. Haider, who practices in Utica and Washington, D.C., notes that the request for his expertise underscores the quality of health care available locally in Utica.
