State Budget Deal Close; Don’t Let Up on Advocacy!

Legislative leaders have indicated that they are close to an agreement on a State Budget framework, setting the stage for what could be passage next week of the various bills that comprise the State Budget. MSSNY’s advocacy team has been meeting and communicating with numerous legislators and key staff to articulate MSSNY’s priorities in the State Budget. However, as long as negotiations remain “open”, physicians must continue to advocate to their legislators in opposition to the following problematic healthcare proposals from the Executive Budget.
