The Perfect Yarmulke for Eating Chocolate Mousse Cake
Colleagues:
One of my pleasures of being your President has been the wonderful support of all the MSSNY staff who have made me look good. My many media interviews that Julie Vecchione arranged for me over the last 10 months, and the numerous press releases that she has worked with Moe Auster and their respective staffs to disseminate to the press have borne fruit in interesting ways this week. A series of interviews with KFF led to quotations in NPR radio about NY’s Consent to Pay Law. Other interviews last year resulted in even more quotations this week in Bloomberg about prior authorization.
As for literally looking good, it does not get any better than this: a Buffalo cap for eating a Mousse. The back story is that a big thank you goes out to Robyn Cangemi for baking a Chocolate Mousse Cake for the Westbury staff. At last year’s Inauguration, Paul Pipia passed down the Buffalo cap for MSSNY celebrations, which I have also discovered serves well as a luncheon yarmulke.
As my Presidential year winds down, I do extend a big thank you to all the MSSNY staff. The House of Delegates will meet during the first weekend in April this year, at which time Dr. David Jakubowicz will inherit the Buffalo cap and other more official MSSNY regalia.
All the best,
Jerome C. Cohen, MD
MSSNY President
