MSSNY’s Cohen on 2024 Power Players in Health Care list

The PoliticsNY and amNY Metro 2024 Power Players in Health Care list includes Dr. Jerome Cohen, president of the Medical Society of the State of New York. Cohen said policymakers can help improve the health care system by addressing issues that keep physicians from practicing in the state. He said the state loses more than half the physicians it trains. “Our patients bear the brunt of health care worker shortages, and we need New York to be more welcoming to physicians,” Cohen said.
