Join Monroe Medical County for the 2025 MCMS Wellness Symposium, Human-Centered Wellness: You Can’t Stop the Waves, but You Can Learn to Surf, on Thursday, April 10, 2025, from 12:30 PM – 5:30 PM at The Rochester Academy of Medicine. This essential event is open to all physicians, advanced practice providers, medical residents, students, nurses, and healthcare workers.
The symposium will explore how clinician and health team well-being supports all aspects of the Quintuple Aim—enhancing patient outcomes, advancing health equity, improving patient experiences, reducing costs, and fostering caregiver wellness. Discussions will cover topics such as burnout in academic healthcare, peer support for second victims, artificial intelligence in wellness leadership, and strategies to mitigate stress.
Physicians can earn up to 4 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ by attending. Registration is $50 for MCMS, Rochester Academy of Medicine, RRH, and URMC members/employees and $75 for non-members, with light refreshments included.
