Letter in Support of Medicare Positive Payment Updates Garners Strong Support

Several members of New York’s Congressional delegation members are among the 100 members of Congress who have joined a letter to House leadership initiated by Rep. Dr. Ami Bera (D-CA) and Rep. Dr. Larry Buchson (R-IN) in support of legislation to facilitate multi-year inflation-based increases in the Medicare physician fee schedule.  This is particularly timely, given that as previously reported, physicians face another 3.36% cut to the Medicare conversion factor unless Congress acts to prevent these cuts.

Signing on to the Bera-Bucshon letter include Reps. Andrew Garbarino (R-Long Island), Brian Higgins (D-Central New York), Jerrold Nadler (D-NYC), Paul Tonko (D-Capital District), and Brandon Williams (R-Central New York).
