House of Delegates Schedule:
The 2026 MSSNY House of Delegates will be held virtually via Zoom and in person at the Hyatt Regency Rochester and Joseph A. Floreano Rochester Riverside Convention Center in Rochester, NY. The House will open virtually via Zoom on the evening of Monday March 9th, recess for virtual reference committee hearings to be held on Sunday March 15 and Sunday March 22 and resume for the remainder of business in Rochester on Friday March 27.

Your Speakers are actively soliciting Delegate volunteers to serve on the following Convention Committees:

If you wish to volunteer, please fill out this online form. The deadline for volunteering is Monday, January 12, 2026. The deadline for receipt of credentials for the purpose of serving on a committee is also Monday, January 12, 2026.
Credentialing:
The HOD office is now open to receive the names of Delegates and Alternate Delegates from the Counties, Districts, Medical Schools, Sections, and Specialty Societies represented in the HOD. Names should be e-mailed to [email protected] . Your Speakers ask that names be submitted as soon as possible as it helps ensure that information can be communicated to all delegates in a timely manner.
Resolutions:
The HOD office is now open for submission of resolutions to the 2026 House of Delegates. Resolutions may be submitted via email to [email protected]. The deadline for receipt of on time resolutions shall be 5PM on Monday, February 9, 2026. The deadline for receipt of late resolutions shall be 5PM on Monday March 23, 2026. Sponsors of late resolutions shall be given an opportunity to provide written or oral testimony to the Committee on Rules, Credentials, and Order of Business at their meeting on March 23, 2026. Any delegate can submit an emergency resolution up to the adjournment of the House of Delegates.

- New York Delegation to the AMA
- 10 Delegates
- 10 Alternate Delegates
- 1 Resident/Fellow Delegate
- 1 Medical Student Alternate Delegate
The Nominating Committee will meet this winter to recommend candidates for election and consider the nominations received from the counties, districts, and sections.
Childcare/Lactation Space:
With the passage of Amended Resolution 207 at the 2025 House of Delegates, your Speakers and HOD staff wish to survey the membership of the House to aid us in helping facilitate delegates and alternate delegates who require childcare and/or lactation spaces at the 2026 HOD. If you anticipate requiring either of these services please fill out this online form as soon as possible.
