Erick A. Eiting, MD, MPH, MMM Elected Assistant Treasurer
of the Medical Society of the State of New York

MSSNY is the State’s Primary Professional Organization for Physicians

Westbury, NY – March 30, 2026 – Erick A. Eiting, MD, MPH, MMM was elected Assistant Treasurer of the Medical Society of the State of New York on March 28. Dr Eiting is a physician‑executive and emergency medicine leader with extensive experience in healthcare operations, academic medicine, and organized medicine. He currently serves as Regional Medical Director for New York at Sollis Health, where he oversees clinical quality, physician leadership, and operational performance across multiple sites. He is also a Clinical Professor of Emergency Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.

Dr. Eiting received his medical degree from the State University of New York Downstate College of Medicine. He completed his residency training in Emergency Medicine at the Jacobi/Montefiore program of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where he trained in a high‑acuity, safety‑net environment. He subsequently completed a fellowship in Emergency Medicine Administration at Keck‑USC Hospital in Southern California, gaining advanced experience in health system management, operations, and financial oversight.

In addition to his clinical training, Dr. Eiting earned a Master of Public Health from Columbia University and a Master of Medical Management from the University of Southern California. His combined clinical and administrative training has informed a career focused on improving care delivery, operational efficiency, and access to care for vulnerable populations. He has held senior leadership roles within large academic and public health systems, including serving as Vice Chair of Operations for Emergency Medicine at Mount Sinai Downtown.

Dr. Eiting has been actively involved in organized medicine at the state and national levels, with a strong commitment to physician advocacy, health equity, and responsible stewardship of resources. He currently serves on several MSSNY committees, including the Emergency Preparedness and Disaster/Terrorism Response Committee, the Health Equity Committee, and the Preventive Medicine and Family Health Committee. In addition, he represents New York County as a Delegate in the MSSNY House of Delegates. As MSSNY Assistant Treasurer, he brings a proven track record of fiscal responsibility, organizational leadership, and dedication to advancing the interests of physicians and patients across New York State.
