Being a MSSNY member assures that your voice is heard by regulatory agencies and in the New York State legislature. No other physician organization has the impact the Medical Society brings on issues affecting physicians and their patients.
Members receive weekly electronic news updates, our monthly newspaper, News of New York, and an extensive array of benefits and services to help make their practices more effective and profitable. They are alerted to legislative and regulatory changes that they need to be in compliance with, and can call on the Society at any time with legal questions or for assistance in resolving disputes with insurers.
Members also make possible the many public health and patient protection initiatives the state and county medical societies are engaged in, and through their support enable MSSNY to accredit hundreds of continuing medical education programs throughout the state each year.
