MSSNY Collaborates with New York eHealth Collaborative to Apply as RHITEC

This past week, MSSNY has released documents for physicians to complete to reserve their place to receive EHR Implementation Services which include Certification of Meaningful Use. This certification will enable physicians to qualify for a Federal Incentive under a Medicare or Medicaid Program. 

Please read through and follow the instructions provided with the letter to reserve your place to receive these services. Be sure to click on the appropriate document since it will include the appropriate point of contact to which the non-binding commitment needs to be sent to. Both primary care (this includes Primary Care, Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Pediatricians and OB/GYNs) and Specialists will be able to procure EHR Implementation and Support Services through a Regional Extension Center.

Ultimately, completed response letters must be emailed or faxed to the appropriate contact of your regional extension center. Kindly, respond by October 28, 2009 or earlier.
